What is One Point of Fruit?

  

At one of the Weight Watchers meetings our leader handed out this great list of what one point of many common fruits weigh. This is a much more accurate way to measure your fruit than 1/8 or a melon.
What Weight Notes
Apples up to 6 oz weight the apple whole
Apricots 6 oz pitted fresh, 5-6 pieces dried
Bananas 3 oz weight the skin, about 1/2 an average banana
Blackberries 6 oz  
Blueberries 6 oz  
Cantaloupe 8 oz  
Cherries 4 oz  
Figs 4 oz  
Grapes 3 oz  
Grapefruit 8 oz  
Kiwi 4 oz  
Mango 4 oz  
Nectarines 4 oz  
Oranges / Tangerines 6 oz  
Papaya 8 oz  
Peaches 6 oz  
Pears 6 oz
